Linda (Elle) Yaven

If someone told me 15 years ago I'd be guiding business teams & music bands (well, maybe
the musicians: I'm a creative by inclination & training) it would have knocked my socks off.
Fast forward, I am Founder, ELLEVATE, an agency providing an original system for teams
of diverse individuals to bring forth their genius ... and have fun while meaning business.

The result? People heighten their self awareness mind-set advancing their enterprise.
Our ethos: the behavioral application of insight & "we are in this together" thinking.

As an experienced Executive Coach it is my privilege to roll up my sleeves, link arms and work with clients at Apple, Pixar Animation Studios, Google, The World Bank, General Assembly, FuseProject, Steelcase, Capgemini, Gannett, Pearson, Chrysler, Fjord, Samsung, Tomorrow Partners, Intuit, Workday, AutoDesk, Iron Creative Communication, Zoo Labs, Blackboard, The Nature Conservancy, Gensler, Light Sail Energy, Strong Brew, Rootid, Tipping Point Community, Swisscom, Oru Kayak, Riddle & Bloom, Full Circle Fund, Linked-in, Dye-Hard Fans, DBO Partners & Teall Capitol.

I also coach music bands on their superpowers as performers, design thinkers & entrepreneurs.

As an Associate Professor in the pioneering MBA in Design Strategy California College of the Arts, I originated a popular approach to communication integrating aesthetics in my course
“Live Exchange: Generative Communication" & am honored to serve as "Sage" for the program's "Women in Leadership" project.

I've presented on communication, creativity & talent profiles at Stanford University, IDEO,
The Cooper Hewitt Design Museum, AIGA, Visual Media Alliance, Blackboard & Harvard & have served as Advisor/Documenter for The Making Learning Visible Institute at Harvard. I've consulted to the Education Branch of the Department of Defense on Meaningful Studio Critique.

What you won't find out from my credentials is I have a painting studio in West Oakland and am a meditation practitioner of 25 years now.
